PLAY: The play is based on an 1897 editorial written in The Sun in New York City to an 8-year-old girl Virginia. This historical story comes to life in a charming way. It tells the story of Virginia who ponders whether or not Santa really exists after she experiences a series of unhappy events. Meanwhile, a young newspaper reporter also struggles against tough holiday times as he is faced with losing his job if he can't find his writer's voice by morning. Even though they don't know each other, the spirit of Christmas is about to bring these people together, creating in the process an unforgettable and cherished part of classic Christmas folklore.

This delightful and heartwarming play is performed by children and adults alike and is a must-see for family members of all ages. Join the Saline Area Players' holiday tradition!
